So what is NLP then?
Now this is a question that I get asked all the time and in just a few words I can explain it so….
We go through life carrying out processes that our brain has programmed for us - a simple example of this could be stopping when we see a red light for instance. Over time we would have programmed ourselves to automatically stop without thinking about it. Unless of course you make a concerted effort to run the red light - but that would be naughty then!
When the alarm goes off in the morning - you don't have to think why has it done that - unless of course it's the weekend and you've set it by mistake. Your brain has programmed you to know that this is the time to get up.
Hopefully you get the idea.
Now there are many of these programs and processes that are not desirable (let's not go on about the clock shall we?) such as phobias, or anxiety. It may even be the case that we would automatically like to react in a positive way, such as confidence and motivation.
Neuro Linguistic Programming is the way in which a Practitioner such as myself can help you overcome those unwanted or undesired processes and gain more positive one's.
